Are you overwhelmed with life? It happens. Sometimes amid everything, we find ourselves in a negative place, but we must believe and have courage because God has gone before us! So no matter what you are facing right now God is going to go before you and reveal the way.
Joshua 3:4 – Yet there shall be a distance between you and it, about 2,000 cubits in length. Do not come near it, in order that you may know the way you shall go, for you have not passed this way before.”
1 Corinthians 2:10 – These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
What does that mean? You have never been this way before, and this is new territory! We have never been this way before, there is a curtain, and we can’t see the other side, but our God will reveal the way to go.
Did you know that the word reveal is the same as revelation? It means to move the curtain out of the way. What! You say that God is moving the curtain out of the way so we can see the way. Yep!
Now imagine being the children of Isreal and being told “Hey, we have never done this before, but we are going into a new land and were going to take it over. Oh, and the first thing we are going to do is walk across the river during flood season.” I am sure they were freaking out a little because Joshua tells them that they will know that God is with them because He is going to move the waters back for them. Sound familiar? Moving the curtains so that we can see the way.
Some of you are facing difficult financial, family, or health situations and you have never been this way before, but God is going roll back the curtain so that you can see that He is the one that goes before you. He is going to show the way!! He is saying to us, “You have never been this way before, but I am going to open up the curtain so that you can see the way before you.”
Pay attention to what God is revealing to you. Is it a strategy for business, health, or even family? He is taking us to a new place, and we need to be ready. We need to remove the things that hinder us and prepare our hearts so that we can get to where God wants us to be.
An adventure with God, how exciting! Are you ready to walk in His freedom and see what He reveals to you?
